Helping Rob cope with Tetraplegia

Thanks to everyone as power chair and VW Caravelle are ordered

It has been yet another time when Rob is saying thank you to so many people who have and are continuing to help him. Rob could not attend the Cammalot Ball but sent his Mum and Dad instead who reported back on the great night that was had by all and the success of the auction. Last Monday eve Rob went to the Prince of Wales and received  a generous donation from the Dursley Round Table.

This was followed by an extended family  meal at the Chinese restaurant at Whitminster- good food and good fun. It is good to hear that the Three Counties Equine Hospital team of Oblivion Mud Runners all survived -thanks for your efforts and donation. Rob was able to wish the B&W Equine Vets Race to the Stones team well himself just before they set off on Friday.

The annex grows at a rapid rate and so there have been many hours of debate over kitchen, bedroom or patio designs- works better than sleeping tablets for some!!
Rob really appreciates everyones efforts as it has enabled him to make decisions that will certainly help him as he looks to start University in September – Both the power chair and the chosen vehicle, an adapted VW Caravelle will be ordered on Monday. Huge thanks to all.
