Helping Rob cope with Tetraplegia

Row4Rob BBQ

What a fantastic effort it was by so many to put on the Row4Rob event last Saturday. Thank you all but especially to Sarah, Tony, Charles and Jan-Rob really enjoyed catching up with his old rowing mates at the Wycliffe Boat House.

In the evening Rob took the opportunity to invite friends round as he had the house to himself as Kirsty celebrated her 18th Birthday in Bristol and Mum and Dad were out also. Sunday was a lie in before doing some computer work in the garden in the afternoon.

Finding a shady spot to do some pre Uni reading

Thursday was another busy day with an early start, getting up at 6.00am in order to be at Bristol Uni on time to check out accessibility to various lecture theatres and the library. A very worthwhile trip and everyone was as helpful as they could be. This was followed by yet another care meeting with the CCG and ICCM as we are still trying to get a safe care package organised and in place. At least we seemed to make some progress which is good considering a start time of 2.30 and the last person leaving at 7pm!!
