Helping Rob cope with Tetraplegia

REBECCA IRISH RUNNING BRISTOL HALF MARATHON – 21 SEPTEMBER 2014

Unfortunately Rebecca has had to withdraw form the event. She writes: “I’ve had runners luck and been hit by a hip injury again, unsurprisingly with no results from Physio this time as it’s much worse, had a consultation at hospital and now going for MRI scans and potentially an op as x-rays show nothing. Clearly running the half at any pace could be a little ambitious now!  I’d like to be able to actually give a race a proper go.  I’m lucky to have the Bath skyline series coming up so there are 10k races every month November-February available to me and being positive might even get in treatment and retrain for the Bath half in March! I’ll let you know as soon as I have a more realistic race date post MRI results”.

Becky – we wish you well on your road to a full recovery
