Helping Rob cope with Tetraplegia

Party time – 21 today

Of course I can blow them out.

Of course I can blow them out.

On December 16th Rob had his 21st Birthday which was celebrated with a small family gathering at home on the day. Twelve months ago Rob’s party was held in the CT reception area at Frenchay hospital – what a difference a year makes. The real party this year was held on Sat eve when Rob’s loyal school mates turned up for an Indian meal which was held in the private barn at Meadowlands. Many thanks to the Witchell family for cooking fantastic food and putting on such a great eve.

Once back in the annex the Sonos sound system was given its test which shook the foundations but failed to disturb the neighbours thankfully.Crash out time was sometime after 1.30am!
Rob’s Sunday morning “hangover” was a dry chest which required time on the wet circuit and a chill out watching DVDs and rugby rather than the usual paracetemol!
