“Rob was a valued member of the team at Alveston House Hotel during his gap year before going on his travels to New Zealand and he was due to return to us to work over the Christmas and New Year of 2013.

Our thoughts have been with Rob since the accident in September but we felt that New Year’s Eve, when many of our regular guests who remembered Rob were celebrating with us, was the perfect time to launch our first fundraising event for him.

During the evening an announcement was made by our DJ and an appeal was launched for a collection to contribute towards the enormous amount of money required to help buy specialist equipment for Rob.

We were delighted to raise just under £300.00. Huge thanks to our guests that were present on the night.”

A big thank you to the staff at Alveston House Hotel and their guests for their wonderful contribution to Cammpaign4Rob.
